Holy Saturday is the day of “Great Silence.” We know the hope that Easter Sunday will bring, but it is not quite upon us. At this point, Jesus is dead and His body is lying in a stone tomb, guarded by armed men sent there by the very people who had Jesus killed. The disciples lock themselves indoors and are scared of what might happen to them. There is not much to say. There is not much to do.
