The World Missions Department is pleased to share the following World Services resources with you this year:

Resource Videos—Throughout the spring, video resources will be posted on our website highlighting some of The Salvation Army’s child survival initiatives in Haiti, India, and Kenya.  The videos will be available for free HERE. The first segment highlighting the Kibera Nursery in the Kenya East Territory has already been posted.
Youth Resources—These resources, accessible HERE, were developed especially for the youth of the corps to help educate them about child survival issues.  Also, later this spring, the World Missions Department  will be releasing a 5-day Vacation Bible School curriculum based on the theme “For Every Child a Chance at Life.”  Suggestions for crafts, activities, snacks, Bible lessons, and even a missions project will be included.  This curriculum could also be adapted to be used in Sunday School, character building and more!
Printed Materials—This year’s World Services printed materials include a poster, donation envelopes, coin banks, and pledge cards. Use them to encourage weekly World Services giving, to promote the yearly World Services ingathering or to kick-off the new World Services year, which begins May 1, 2015. The materials are available free of charge and can be ordered online right HERE. Be watching for a sample packet of these World Services materials to arrive at your corps or ARC soon.
