Happy New Year 2025!

As we step into a new year, the uncertainty of what lies ahead can sometimes feel overwhelming. Yet, amid the unknown, one unchanging truth stands firm: God is faithful. This assurance, rooted in Scripture and evident in our lives, provides a steady anchor for our hearts.

The Bible repeatedly reminds us of God’s unwavering faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “Because of the Lord’s great love, we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.” These words, penned in a time of hardship and lament, remind us that God’s mercy and faithfulness are constants, no matter the circumstances we face.

Reflect on the past year. Where did you see God? Can you see how He provided, guided, or carried you through challenges? Sometimes, His faithfulness appears in answers to prayer. Other times, it is evident in His quiet presence during trials. These moments build a foundation of trust for the days to come. And it is important that we remind ourselves of where and when we’ve seen the evidence of God’s goodness.

In this new year, remember that God’s plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11) and remember how you’ve seen Him move in your life. God’s promises remain true, and His love never fails. Even when life feels uncertain or we can’t see a way through, we can trust that God is working all things together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

Even when we don’t see it You’re working.
Even when we don’t feel it You’re working.
You never stop; You never stop working.
You never stop; You never stop working.
Waymaker, miracle worker, promise keeper,
Light in the darkness.
My God. That is Who You are.

Keep praying. Keep asking. Keep trusting.

God bless you in this 2025 new year!
