Good Friday. This is the day of confrontation between God’s boundless love and the sin of all humanity. The day that brings everything to a breaking point, not only in terms of Holy Week, but the ongoing fight between good and evil that began when sin entered the world. Old words from the prophet Isaiah, “…the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all” (Isaiah 53:6), are proven true when the Son of God becomes the sacrifice for the entire world.
