For the last few months of Embrace we have been exploring a series from Jesus’ the Sermon on the Mount or “The Beatitudes”. We began Embracing the word “Blessed” and then looked at comfort, hunger, mercy, and finally meekness.

This has been such an encouraging series for me as a writer and also as a member of an Embrace group. I have been reminded of what it means to be a child of Christ’s coming Kingdom – living out the “beatitudes” in my daily life and surrendering to God’s will in all of it.
