Connect Café an interactive activity that took place at #TWMLC2014 was designed to encourage delegates at the conference to reach out into their communities “connecting” with new women to draw them into focus groups at their corps.  Connect Café is a coffee shop atmosphere with free coffee being served to  those attending.  There will also be a resource list of ideas offered for connecting to women in their community.  There were raffle prizes and personality quizes at the tables.

This event could work well as an informal gathering of women from the corps with an encouragement and emphasis on inviting neighbors and friends.
