INTERNATIONAL APPOINTMENTS AND PROMOTIONS
It is my privilege to share with you information regarding international appointments and promotions decided by the General.
EFFECTIVE 1 APRIL 2014
COLONEL LALNGAIHAWMI, an officer of the India Eastern Territory currently serving as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries in that territory, is promoted to the rank of commissioner.
EFFECTIVE 1 JUNE 2014
LIEUT-COLONELS JOGINDER MASIH AND SHANTI JOGINDER, officers of the India Northern Territory, currently serving as Secretary for Programme and Secretary for the Silver Star in that territory, are appointed respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, India Western Territory.

LIEUT-COLONELS RODNEY AND WENDY WALTERS, officers of the Australia Eastern Territory, currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries in the Eastern Europe Territory, are appointed as territorial leaders there. Lieut-Colonel Rodney Walters is appointed as Territorial Commander, Eastern Europe Territory and Lieut-Colonel Wendy Walters as Territorial President of Women’s Ministries. They take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel. They succeed Colonels Kenneth and Paula Johnson who will be taking up new appointment responsibilities in their home territory (USA Southern).
MAJOR ALEXANDER KHARKOV, an officer of the Eastern Europe Territory, currently serving as the Advisor for Legal Affairs and Registration Matters in that territory, is appointed as Chief Secretary, Eastern Europe Territory. He takes up his new appointment responsibilities with the rank of lieutenant-colonel.

LIEUT-COLONELS GODFREY AND DIANE PAYNE, officers of the United Kingdom Territory with the Republic of Ireland, currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries in the Nigeria Territory, are appointed as territorial leaders in that territory. Lieut-Colonel Godfrey Payne is appointed as Territorial Commander, Nigeria Territory and Lieut-Colonel Diane Payne as Territorial President of Women’s Ministries. They take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of commissioner – Lieut-Colonel Diane Payne on 1 August 2014 and Lieut-Colonel Godfrey Payne 2 August 2014. They succeed Commissioners Mfon and Ime Akpan who will be retiring from active service.
MAJORS FRIDAY AND GLORY AYANAM, officers of the Nigeria Territory, currently serving respectively as Assistant Chief Secretary/Secretary for Personnel and Territorial Home League Secretary in that territory, are appointed respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Nigeria Territory. They take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of lieutenant-colonel.

COMMISSIONERS BRIAN AND ROSALIE PEDDLE, officers of the Canada and Bermuda Territory currently serving as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries in that territory, are appointed to International Headquarters. Commissioner Brian Peddle is appointed as International Secretary for the Americas and Caribbean, and Commissioner Rosalie Peddle as Zonal Secretary for Women’s Ministries – Americas and Caribbean.
COMMISSIONERS TORBEN AND DEISE ELIASEN, officers of the Brazil Territory, currently serving respectively as International Secretary and Zonal Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Americas and Caribbean, at International Headquarters, are appointed as territorial leaders of the South America West Territory. Commissioner Torben Eliasen is appointed as Territorial Commander, South America West Territory and Commissioner Deise Eliasen as Territorial President of Women’s Ministries.
COMMISSIONERS JORGE AND ADELINA FERREIRA, officers of the South America East Territory, currently serving as territorial leaders in the South America West Territory, are appointed as territorial leaders of the South America East Territory. Commissioner Jorge Ferreira is appointed as Territorial Commander, South America East Territory and Commissioner Adelina Ferreira as Territorial President of Women’s Ministries.
COLONEL SUSAN McMILLAN, an officer of the Canada and Bermuda Territory, currently serving as the Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries in the South America East Territory, is appointed as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Canada and Bermuda Territory. She will take up her new appointment responsibilities with the rank of commissioner.
COLONEL HANNELISE TVEDT, an officer of the Denmark Territory currently serving as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries in the Netherlands and Czech Republic Territory, is appointed as Territorial Commander and Territorial President of Women’s Ministries, Denmark Territory. The colonel succeeds Colonels Knud David and Lisbeth Welander who will be taking up appointment responsibilities at International Headquarters.
LIEUT-COLONELS HENRIK AND LISBETH ANDERSEN, officers of the Denmark Territory, currently serving respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries in that territory, are appointed respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries in the Netherlands and Czech Republic Territory. They take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel.
LIEUT-COLONELS ANTHONY AND GILLIAN COTTERILL, officers of the United Kingdom Territory with the Republic of Ireland, currently serving respectively as Principal and Assistant Principal, William Booth College, are appointed respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Denmark Territory.
LIEUT-COLONELS WILLIS AND BARBARA HOWELL, officers of the USA Southern Territory, currently serving as divisional leaders in that territory, are appointed respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga Territory, in succession to Colonels Graeme and Wynne Reddish who will be retiring from active service. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel.
LIEUT-COLONEL DAVID BOWLES, an officer of the Canada and Bermuda Territory, currently serving as Territorial Youth Secretary in the Germany and Lithuania Territory is appointed Territorial Secretary for Adult and Family Ministries in that territory. Lieut-Colonel Marsha-Jean Bowles serves as chief secretary in the territory.

COLONELS MERLE AND DAWN HEATWOLE, officers of the USA Central Territory, currently serving as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries in that territory, are appointed respectively as National Chief Secretary and National Secretary for Women’s Ministries, USA.
LIEUT-COLONELS JEFFREY AND DOROTHY SMITH, officers of the USA Central Territory, currently serving together in the Personnel Department (Lieut-Colonel Jeffrey Smith being the Secretary for Personnel), are appointed respectively as Chief Secretary and Territorial Secretary for Women’s Ministries, USA Central Territory. They will take up their new appointment responsibilities with the rank of colonel.
