Meet Major Sally Sell! Serving with her husband, Major Sally is the Corps officer of the Goshen, IN corps. She has faithfully served the Lord through The Salvation Army for 20 years. Sally loves people with a tender heart and sweet spirit. You can see the joy of Jesus in her beautiful smile! Here is Sally’s testimony…
“My husband and I are the corps officers here in Goshen, Indiana where I am the leader and member of our Four-fold Women’s Ministries group as well as a focus group (prior to COVID 19) where several of our ladies get together before our regular meeting time to exercise together.
In my 20 years of officership, I have been so blessed by all the women I have come to know through Women’s Ministry at each corps we have served in. Currently here in Goshen, we are a very close-knit group that never hesitates to love & support each other no matter what any of us are going through. We have had five of our ladies become widows during our time here, (and one who has been a widow for many years). Those ladies in particular are very near and dear to our Women’s Ministries members hearts. We call them our “SNBC ladies” which stands for Single Not By Choice. Women’s Ministries means an opportunity to love and bond with the women of the corps in different and unique ways that may not necessarily happen otherwise.”
